Ahava Board


Mike Rozier and his wife Angelia own the Mike Rozier Construction Company located in Greenwood, Mississippi. Together they have four children and twelve precious grandchildren. In addition to being the President of Ahava's Board of Directors, Mr. Rozier is also Ahava's beloved Santa Claus. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 84:11 - "For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right."

Frankie Robbins is the Vice President of Ahava's Board of Directors. He lives in Vaiden, MS with his wife Kim where he works as a technician. They are blessed with four grown children. When asked about his favorite Ahava memory, he says there are too many to count. Frankie's humility is reflected in his favorite Bible verses: "Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important," found in Galatians 6:2-3.

Holly Bridges is an experienced teacher at Winona Christian School. She serves as Ahava's Treasurer on the Board of Directors. Her husband, Andy, works at the Biewer Sawmill as the Operations Manager. Together they have one daughter, Mia, two great nieces, and one great nephew. Holly especially loves Ahava's movie nights. Her family attends Kilmichael Baptist Church, and her favorite Scriptural encouragement comes from Joshua 1:9. "This is my command - be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

John Goldwater is pastor of Christ community church in Grenada Mississippi since 2005. John and his wife Sara have four children.

Jeremy Richey is honored to serve as the Missions Pastor at Batesville Community Church in Batesville, MS. Him and his wife Amy are blessed with three children. Jeremy is known for his visionary leadership and diligence. He looks forward to seeing all the smiling faces of Ahava's program families each time he visits. His favorite Scripture is Philippians 2:3, which expresses the attitude he seeks to demonstrate each day: "Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves."

Dr. Marcus Carson is the Associate Dean of Career Technical Education at Bevill State Community College. He is married to Mrs. Natalie Carson, assistant principal of Oakman High School. Together they have four beautiful children and attend Church of the Highlands in Fultondale, Alabama. Dr. Carson says he has too many wonderful memories at Ahava to pick just one favorite. If you're looking for encouragement from Scripture, he recommends going to John 3:16 - "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
